My family is on the road. A lot. & one thing my dad struggles with is google maps. He tends to think that he has a better way to go than the way maps is telling him. Which usually ends up taking us all kinds of crazy ways! He thinks the directions from his maps app are wrong.
“I should turn here, not there.”

But after being wrong, several times, (!!!) he learned to trust that the maps knows best. & while maps is occasionally wrong Gods ways are never wrong.
I think our lives are a lot like a road map. There's so many different paths to take, but there's only one that God wants us to take. Sometimes it's the longer way, sometimes it's the harder way, but no matter what it is we have to have the courage to put our lives in God's hands and let him tell us where to go.
We tend to be like my dad with google maps & think we have life all figured out on our own. We think our ways are better than God's way. For most of us, we don't know Gods will for our lives. But, we do know one thing, His ways are better than our ways, our only job is to trust. It's easy to trust God when everything is going our way, but real faith steps in when you trust him through the bad times, & when your world is upside down. Don't be a part time christian, when God is a full time savior. He is & always will be our rock, our foundation. You are never too broken for the grace of Jesus. God's timing for everything in our lives is perfect. It's forever accurate. Trust it, believe it, & allow it.
