Do you have a fire in your heart for God?
One thing I strive to have is a heart & soul that is just on fire for God & that’s just full of the joy of the Lord!
In order for us to have these fires, it starts with having people to walk along side you in your faith. You need people to walk beside you because eventually you will burn out and be in a pit by yourself.
To have a fire in your soul for God, you have to accept who you are & embrace your true identity. Avoid those unhealthy relationships & don’t be driven by your own ego. You have to pray for God to help you see yourself as He sees you. When you start to recognize that God made you in His image for great purposes that he has in store and that he loves you more than you can ever image, then you’ll start to live with this burning passion.
Today I challenge you to be on fire for our Father! I challenge you to thrive to always be a Christlike example no matter what the situation is.
As hard as life can be, we have to face it with a positive attitude, and know that with God, nothing is impossible. I pray that the Lord would set a fire in your soul for Him that you cannot control! It’s in His name that we come alive, all praise goes to Christ!
Keep this in mind : If your fire burns out, it doesn’t just burn down yourself, it burns up people around you. Your actions do not just affect your daily walk, they could affect other people too.
Another thing you have to remember is fires always burn brighter in the dark. If you build a fire in the daylight, sure you still have a fire, but how much does it benefit you? If you build it when the sun goes down, this is now you're only source of light. You depend on it for warmth, & to provide for you. Even though you may not realize it, you are shining bright for someone. Someone is depending on you to provide that source of light. They need you to share Jesus with them. My prayer for you is that you will be on fire for God, and that you will be a light for everyone around you!
