The Promise

God why do I run from you? You see this distance I create is at the root of my confusion. Yet I I still blaming you when I believed in the illusions that Satan sent my way. & yes I read your word, & I pray but the skin I live in somehow always leads me astray. & it's really got me questioning if I truly love you, because if I did i'd take my time, & my full attention & I would put nothing else above you. So when you alarm me from above, I pray I don't hit snooze because every time that I do, I lose. If you want a real relationship with God, then you choose. To respect him. Don't neglect him, just call him & check in. You know why? Because God's number hasn't changed. You could be one phone call away from Jesus setting your soul free. So when the world has beat you to your knees & you start crying out for help always remember that it comes from Him. & not that of yourself. Because He is so abounding in His love, & so forgiving in His grace. It was Him who saw you on your knees & pulled you to your feet. Each & every day, it is your faith that He will test, but the God that dwells within you is so much stronger than your flesh.    

So I was listening to this sermon from Caleb Stanley, & it hit me hard. I don't know about you guys, but when something doesn't go my way, I automatically look to blame someone. Or when I get mad, I am already thinking, why did this have to happen? But the Bible says, "Don't despise when trials come your way." God is amazing, he will never abandon us in the midst of trials. God cares more about giving you joy than taking away all the pain, because he will use the pain so that you can experience real joy.    

You have to remember the promise. What is the promise? The promise is that we have a purpose in Him & that we are so loved by him. The promise that we can dwell in His house & in His presence. The promise that a comforter is always available to us. The promise that He gives us strength when we are weak. The promise that He doesn't miss what you're going through. The promise that He will not betray you. The promise that He will not let you down. The promise that my suffering will not be ignored. The promise that He is still on plan A. The promise that He is the perfecter. The promise that He is the creator. The promise that God is with you always. The promise that he has not forgotten about you. The promise that HE WILL NOT FORSAKE YOU!!!     You have to come from your pain, & you have to let God lead you towards truth. I pray that God will allow you to see your suffering as a new level of Love. I pray you will give all your praises to Him, even in the midst of all of your struggles. I pray that you will boast only in the Lord and look to him for help so that he can give you radiant joy. I pray that the Holy Spirit will remind you of your value & that you will thrive daily knowing that the Lord is with you! 

   God is so good, even when it seems like He is not on your side, know that His plans for you are SO much bigger than the plans you have for yourself. God is love, and he is our comfort. God arms are always open & He is waiting on you to run to Him.

He doesn’t say come to me when you have it all together, he says come to me now.

I have learned recently that God wants us to come to Him with our full heart, He does not care what you have done, He will give you peace, & He will teach you something through your trials.     Whatever you might be going through, I promise, you will get through it. With God all things are possible & I promise you that He has a plan for your suffering. Keep going, & stay strong, I know that you can do it, & so does God. He would not give you anything you couldn't handle. remember - from pain < towards truth
