Every once in awhile you meet someone who has a soul that is just full of Jesus. Someone who's souls are so content, & Jesus is just coming out of them so freely. It is just so refreshing. They are not needy. They are not trying to prove themselves to anyone. They are not trying to measure up to that perfect level. They hold no judgement for others because they are aware of their own sin.
Someone I look up to so very much, lives this way. She is not self centered, and she is deeply aware that she needs God, and nothing more. She brings everyone up that's around her, and is just truly a joy to be around. From the minute I met her, she changed my life. Rather than just talking about Jesus, she lives like Jesus.
She knows grace, and she gives it away. Faith and God’s word is something that is real to her, and she prioritizes it. I am amazed at her relationship with Christ, and how she applies his word to her daily life. She chooses to love, to not talk bad, to believe the best is yet to come, and to let God be God. She taught me there’s no need to try to be God when He is plenty good at His job himself.
Something about her core identity is just altogether different from anyone else's I’ve ever met. She isn’t living to please anyone but God. She is living for an audience of one. She knows she is forgiven, and she is not defined by her sins, and she is not in bondage over anything from the past. She is forgiven, & she lives free, and her life gives this away. Grace breathes more Grace, & this person is the all time person to strive to be in your faith and in your relationship with Christ.
