Who is On Your Throne?

Who gets control of your life?

In our lives there is one throne, only one person gets to sit on that throne. Who sits on the throne of your life, is it you or Jesus? Maybe it's a guy/girl or an idol on your throne. Whatever it is in your life, set it aside and let God have that seat on the throne. You see we tend to say that Jesus is in control of our lives & that your life is all His, but when something comes up that God is doing in our lives we don’t want to happen, we push Him off the throne and say, “God I got this.”

Let me tell you something. You don’t got this. You can’t do anything without God. Whoever sits on your throne will determine how you act. If it’s a temptation like a person that isn’t good for you, maybe listening to bad music, whatever it is, that is what will come out on the outside. Whoever/whatever sits on your throne will consume your life. Who sits on your throne?

We are living with masks on our faces. Take the mask off and let people see that Jesus is living inside of you. Let others know that you have been set free and that you are loved by the King of the universe! We may look all put together and in one piece on the outside, but truth is, a lot of us are broken and shattered on the inside. A lot of us have the outside appearance wonderful, but Jesus wants SO much more than our external appearance. He wants our internal appearance to reflect Him & show others that we live for Him!

You can know right and do right and still not be right. Christianity is not knowing or doing, it’s simply about being.

It’s not all about your actions but it’s about your reactions. Have you ever seen what the word Christianity means? It means “Little Christ." Do people look at you as a mirror image of Christ? Or do you just go through the motions? When you get squeezed, what comes out? Does Jesus come out in times of trouble, or is it your flesh? Just because you know Jesus, doesn’t mean you have Jesus. God is more than information, you have to believe that! God has died for us & we should have a personal, daily relationship with him.
